Shandong Jingzhiheng New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., established on October 15, 2024, focuses on new material technology research and development, and has started a major new project—the construction of a facility with a total investment of 530 million yuan to produce 5,000 tons of tributyl phosphate (TBP) and 5,000 tons of triisobutyl phosphate (TIBP) defoamer annually. TBP is a colorless organic phosphate ester widely used as an extractant in nuclear fuel processing and rare metal recovery, as well as a plasticizer and industrial defoamer. TIBP, a clear liquid with low surface tension, is extensively applied as a defoamer and penetrant in textile dyeing, inks, coatings, oilfield drilling fluids, and water treatment. Both products offer high stability and low toxicity, supporting the company’s role in advancing specialized chemical manufacturing within the region’s industrial park.
